Explosion near Telekom in Kosovska Mitrovica
Unknown persons detonated an explosive device in the vicinity of Telekom's building in northern Kosovska Mitrovica on Friday morning leaving no one injured.

The blast took place somewhat after 5 a.m. only a few meters away from the building causing minor material damage. Members of the Kosovo Police Service and EULEX are on the spot, and the investigation is underway. Nenad Djuric, Kosovo police deputy regional director, told The press that the explosive device was thrown at one abandoned and dilapidated building located a few meters away from the Telekom building. The place of the blast is 200 meters from the main bridge on the Ibar River in the multiethnic neighborhood of Bosnjacka Mahala. In the last 24 hours this is the second serious incident in northern Kosovo following the ambush of EULEX vehicles on the Kosovska Mitrovica-Raska road near Zvecan on Thursday which claimed the life of EULEX staff member Lithuanian Audrius Senavicius.
