Arnaud Gouillon, head of the humanitarian organization, attended the opening of a farm in Prekovac which received 85 Alpine goats from Solidarity for Kosovo. This kind of help has a long-term character. Cheese and milk from the farm are primarily intended for the soup kitchen Mother of Nine Jugovic and the most vulnerable citizens but what is left of the products will be sold in monasteries. The funds of the sale are intended for financing of the farm and its development, Gouillon said in a written statement. The French humanitarians visited a number of primary schools in central Kosovo and collected data on their needs. The schools are in a very difficult condition often without the basic conditions for studying and sometimes without minimum hygiene that is toilets. It is unthinkable to leave children in such a situation, he underlined. Solidarity for Kosovo is planning to help and renovate a few schools this autumn as it was done in the village of Straza near Gnjilane last year, the statement reads.
