Arrest for human smuggling from Kosovo
As part of an international operation, members of the Serbian Criminal Police arrested 10 members of an organized criminal group that had been illegally smuggling people from Kosovo, Syria and other countries of Asia and Africa to the EU, The press learnt at the Police Directorate.

The operation was carried out in the territory of entire Serbia- Presevo, Subotica, Kikinda, Novi Sad and Sremska Mitrovica. The 10 arrestees are suspected of illegally smuggling a great number of people to the EU in the period from July to October this year. The smugglers charged EUR 2,100- 3,500 per person. The operation was conducted in cooperation with the Serbian Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime.
