Serbian government official denied entry to Kosovo
Serbia's State Secretary for Energy Dejan Popovic and head of the Kolubara mining company Milorad Grcic were not allowed to enter Kosovo at the Merdare administrative crossing on Thursday, allegedly for procedural reasons, the Ministry of Energy has told the press.

Head of Povrsinski kopovi Kosovo Srdja Kovacevic, who entered Kosovo a little while before Popovic and Grcic arrived at the crossing, was sent back later, the ministry stated. The humanitarian aid, food, coal and computers, that was to be delivered to various institutions during the Serbian delegation's visit will still be transported to Kosovo, the ministry said.
The food will be delivered to the Collective Centre in Gnjilane, around 100,000 tonnes of coal to the Collective Centre in Strpce and the computers to the Electrical Engineering School in Susica, the ministry stated.
