Bomb thrown in northern Kosovska Mitrovica, no one injured

Unknown assailants threw an explosive device, most likely a hand grenade, at one wrecked house in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica on Tuesday, but, fortunately, no one was injured in the attack.

Zeljko Bojic, regional chief of operations at the Kosovo Police Service (KPS), told The press that the device exploded in Bosanska St., in the northern part of the town, but that no one was injured. Members of EULEX, KFOR and KPS arrived at the site following the blast. The explosion was rather strong and could be heard in the wider town area.
