Serb politician Krstimir Pantic interviewed by Kosovo police
Krstimir Pantic, former president of the municipal assembly in Kosovska Mitrovica, said on Tuesday that he has been interviewed in the police station in the northern part of that town in northern Kosovo, and noted that this constitutes a continuation of pressure on Serbs in the province.

Pantic said in a statement that Kosovo police warned him that a warrant will be issued for his arrest, if he does not go to the police station for an interview concerning accusations that he allegedly attacked one person in Kosovska Mitrovica on November 8 last year. "After the hearing that lasted for around an hour, I was allowed to leave the station because the investigative judge could not decide whether to request my detention due to previous obligations in the court and I was told that the decision about that will be delivered later," Pantic noted. Pantic, who also served as the deputy head of the Serbian government's Office for Kosovo, said that this constitutes a continuation of pressure that Serbs are subjected to in Kosovo-Metohija due to the fact that the alleged physical attack with which he is charged happened over two months ago, and in the meantime he did not receive any call to go to the police station for an interview. Pantic noted that the person accusing him of the attack was a member of the anti-election campaign headquarters during local elections in Kosovska Mitrovica that were held in November, and he reported the case to EULEX.
