Greece warns against rushed moves in Kosovo

Greek Prime Minister Kostas Karamanlis warned against hasty steps in process of determining the future status of Kosovo, urging the European Union to offer Serbia much stronger prospects for European integrations.

"It is important to avoid one-sided and hasty steps in the process of taking decisions on the future status of Serbia's much-troubled province of Kosovo," Karamanlis said in the Slovene capital Ljubljana on Tuesday.

Karamanlis reiterated Greece's position on Kosovo, urging the international community to avoid one-sided and rushed measures, but, rather, take decisive steps in order to preserve stability and security in troubled province.
