Athens and Moscow believe agreed solution for Kosovo is still possible

Greek Prime minister Kostas Karamanlis said in Athens on Tuesday that his country is favoring an agreed solution on Kosovo, which he still sees as possible.

Karamanlis said Greece was opposed to the policy of "fait accompli".

Meanwhile, in Luxembourg, following a meeting with EU officials, Russian Foreign minister Sergey Lavrov said Moscow's position on Kosovo differs from the one that Brussels has.

"A chance to identify a mutually-acceptable solution on Kosovo has not been lost yet", Lavrov said.
