Buidling position on Kosovo will be a top task of new government
Macedonian president Branko Crvenkovski said that one of the top tasks of a new government, following the June elections, will be a decision on whether to recognize Kosovo’s secession.

"One of the top tasks of the new government will be to build a position on Kosovo's independence. Any decision that will claim to be competent in this area will have to take into consideration the stand of most of the EU and NATO member states. Macedonia wants to build relations equally good with Belgrade and Pristina," President Crvenkovski said.
He added it was extremely important that the "demarcation of the Macedonian northern border starts and finishes as Martti Ahtisaari's plan envisages".
"Any other decision will mean a start of new negotiations on the border, which are unnecessary both for Kosovo and Macedonia", Crvenkovski said.
