In comment to the statement of Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci that based on the plan of former UN Envoy Marty Ahtisaari the option of the integrates Mitrovica municipality should be considered, Ivanovic has pointed that such statements disturb the Serb community and cause instability in the Province.

He said that Thaci should stop making populist and potentially dangerous claims, and instead accept the realistic situation in the field. The reality is that the northern part of Mitrovica will never accept the jurisdiction of Pristina, at least not in the way that the Albanians imagine it, underlined Ivanovic.
