Two of the arrested persons are suspected of participating in the attack on a police checkpoint in the village of Dobrosin, near the Bela Zemlja administrative crossing, which took place on October 7, the statement reads.

The suspects are in custody, and they are to be interrogated by a EULEX judge in the District Court in Gnjilane on Tuesday.

In less than half a year, this was the third attack on the Dobrosin checkpoint. The last attack took place on October 7 when unknown attackers opened fire on the checkpoint, leaving no one injured.

The first one took place on May 17, 2012 when, as said by Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic, ethnic Albanian terrorists came from the village of Stubline, and opened fire some 100-150 meters from the checkpoint.

The second attack took place on June 28, leaving policeman Branislav Mirkovic from Bujanovac slightly injured.

Three days later, EULEX police accused five persons of terrorism and participation in a terrorist group. Two persons were put in custody, while the other three were deprived of passports.

The village of Dobrosin with about 150 households and around 740 inhabitants is located 16 kilometers west from Bujanovac on the administrative line.
In this village, the so-called Liberation Army of Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanovac was formed early in January 2000.
