Clinton to visit Balkans,support to EU integration

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will travel to Serbia, Kosovo, and Bosnia and Herzegovina next week to demonstrate the enduring U.S. interest, commitment and support to the future of the Balkans in the European and Euro-Atlantic community, the U.S. Department of State said.

Clinton will be joined by Catherine Ashton, the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, the statement said.

Clinton and Ashton will reiterate the U.S.-EU resolve for Belgrade and Pristina to build on previous agreements and advance their dialogue.

During the stay in Sarajevo, they will stress the immutability of the international community's commitment to the Dayton Peace Accords.

Clinton will wrap up the Balkan tour by visits to Croatia and Albania.
