Their visit symbolizes the support to the initiated process concerning the continuation of the top-level dialogue on Kosovo, Delevic told the Belgrade-based tabloid.

She added that this is also an encouragement for the new government to approach the dialogue very seriously and continue the country's EU path, and it should all go hand in hand with reforms in the country.

Delevic expects the visit of Clinton and Ashton to bring a message that the search for the Kosovo issue is progressing and that the dynamics should be such as to guarantee the credibility of the process.

Results are important but it is important for the dynamics to be such as to demonstrate the credibility of the country's wish to reach tangible results, she noted.

Asked whether Clinton and Ashton would exert influence on the text of the platform for the dialogue with Priština, Delević said that the report of the European Commission sent clear signals and guidelines concerning the solutions to the Kosovo issue which are definitely not an option, and expressed the belief that the government had the room for maneuver to carry out the platform while at the same time respecting the messages from the EU.

Asked hether it is possible for Serbia to get a date for the start of EU accession talks as early as in December, Delević said that she "did not believe there would be shortcuts in the process".
