In an interview for International Radio of Serbia, Dikovic noted that these are not typical military challenges and threats but all countries in the Balkans are facing these threats. Dikovic said that the current situation in Kosovo is the biggest security risk at the moment but the solution to the issue is being sought on the political and not on the military level. Members of the Armed Forces are doing all they can to create the conditions for political negotiations, he said. Speaking about the professionalisation of the Serbian Armed Forces carried out in the previous period, Dikovic said that this proved to be a positive move and announced new changes. Changes will certainly be made, we will know how to remove all the downsides and we will monitor contemporary challenges and we will be ready to respond to them, he underscored.
