Bomb found in northern Kosovska Mitrovica
A bomb was found in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica late on Sunday evening, which was destroyed in a controlled explosion on Monday morning.

Regional Chief of Operations with the Kosovo Police Service (KPS) Zeljko Bojic told The press that the explosive device was detected in the vicinity of the Telekom Serbia building in Kosovska Mitrovica on Sunday evening, and then destroyed in a controlled blast at around 8 a.m. on Monday.Citizens reported the case to the police, after which the KPS secured the area, and KFOR members destroyed the explosive device, most likely a hand grenade, Bojic added.This is not the first time that a bomb has been planted in this part of Mitrovica in the neighborhood of Bosniak Mahala.Previously, on September 20, the bomb was thrown at a ruined house, which caused just small material damage.
